Dear Jerry Ross Families,

We are starting our 20th school year at Jerry Ross and I have had the pleasure of being the principal since we opened back in 2003.  Our goal is to create a learning environment that is enriching, inspiring and joyful. We want every child and staff member to love coming to school every day. We do this by building strong relationships with students and families and by engaging our learners with innovative curriculum and instruction.  We also believe that every child has unique talents, likes, and abilities. We offer numerous extracurricular clubs to meet the needs of every child. Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers and staff are here to help your child receive the highest level of support in a nurturing environment. 

I have always been a lifelong learner and love to learn and grow. I recently went back to school to earn my doctorate degree in Educational Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. I am finishing my first full year this August and am on target to graduate during the summer of 2024. The coursework in my program is very useful as a school principal. I am learning and growing every day and I share these discoveries with students, staff and parents. Finally, in my spare time I love to spend time with family and friends, bike ride, and hike. I love to read, but most of my reading is delegated to research articles and textbooks these days.
