The Jerry Ross PTO provides each teacher with $300 to fund student incentive programs and purchase supplies and educational tools. Each principal, teacher aide, custodian, cafeteria staff member and school nurse also receive funds.
The Jerry Ross PTO proudly supports all academic groups and extracurricular clubs at Jerry Ross Elementary School.
The Jerry Ross PTO provides $5,000 to the schools for Schoolwide Reading programs to encourage reading and comprehension.
The Jerry Ross PTO provides prizes and certificates for classroom “Students of the Month” and “Student Writers” to help boost student confidence
Special Persons’ Day and Challenge Day/Field Day is funded by the Jerry Ross PTO
The Jerry Ross PTO helps fund special projects such as the Jerry Ross Outdoor Learning Lab.
Red Ribbon Week is funded and staffed by the Jerry Ross PTO to encourage students to stay drug-free.
The memorable 5th Grade Dance and DARE graduation from Jerry Ross is subsidized by the Jerry Ross PTO
